While blue induces a calming effect, violet and lilac tones are prominently used to represent wellness and are associated with relaxation and meditation — they can also be seen a lot in some of the digital worldly landscapes that have been created as of late, bringing futuristic moods and possibilities.

Although this colour can be a little daunting to style, we recommend other shades that might emulate a similar look. Deep indigos such as Bendigo Indigo or Lore Indigo, as well as a more greyed lilac such as Plush Lilac ­— or lilac itself — are great alternative options.
